Earth Day this year is April 22. C3 will be promoting observance of Earth Day 2021 by posting Bible verses each day for 20 plus 21 days, a total of 41 days. We begin tomorrow March 12.
The Christian community needs to become more aware of the greenness of the Bible. Many of us are unaware of the many Bible verses promoting creation care. This lack of knowledge has contributed to a deficient theology focused so much on personal salvation we have ignored the call for everyday stewardship of the earth.
The C3 Road to Earth Day 2021 will highlight a different Bible verse for 41 days, with or without commentary. We hope this will contribute to a stronger theology and more faithful stewardship of God’s creation.
