Do Your Small Part To Make

BIG CHANGES.

REDUCE PLASTICS

Use a canvas bag to do light grocery shopping so you don't have to use the store's plastic bags. Buy a water filter and use your own bottle to have accessible water at workouts or traveling in your car.

WALK TO DESTINATIONS

Whenever possible, take a little extra time and walk to your friend's home for a visit or to the store for a purchase. Walking can combat our modern disease of "hurry-itis" and reduce our carbon footprint on the planet. Everybody wins.

GO VEGETARIAN

You don't to become a full-time vegetarian to intersperse more vegetarian meals into your diet. By reducing your meat intake you contribute to your health and take the strain off the food industry which has to consume large amounts of grain to raise animals for food consumption.

WRITE A CONGRESSPERSON

Take a few minutes to communicate with your senator and/or congressional representative that you are a concerned citizen who cares about creation and wants the government to make decisions that address the problems associated with climate change.

PRAY

Just as we often pray for our families and friends in crisis, we can begin to pray for our earth that is in crisis. The animals that are under stress, the plants that are threatened and the atmosphere that is polluted need our prayers. Add them to your personal and small group prayer list.
