India comprises 18% of the world's population but only contributes 3% of the world's greenhouse gases. Currently northern India and Pakistan are experiencing the worst heat wave in recorded history. Climate change is impacting India now. It's so hot that overheated birds are dropping out of the sky in Gurganon, India. The homeless are trying to find shade under highway bridges. In addition to the problems associated with Uvalde, Texas and Ukraine, let's remember the people, especially the poor people of India.
